Critical thinking, I thought it was just something that everyone was aware of and knew that they used it every day. At first I believed that if you were living in todays world we used critical thinking, no matter the situation. After doing this assignment and learning about what critical thinking really is I have came to realize that not everyone has strong critical thinking skills. When I was conducting the interview to access the critical thinking skills of Mr. Burchfield I noticed he had strong critical thinking skills. When he was speaking I was able to see that I was also showing critical thinking skills by completely listening to him and respecting what he has to say. Critical thinking skills are important to have not only in a daily situation but they critical thinking is an important obstacle that can also determine jobs, and positions in certain areas. Critical thinking is a valuable skill that I now know can be defined by locations, beliefs, and family values at times. Sometimes we just have to try to think outside the box, and listen to what others have to say and contribute ideas from that point.
